This End User License Agreement creates a binding legal agreement between you and AAEXTENSIONS. In simpler terms, these are the rules that apply when you use our extensions.

Understanding AAEXTENSIONS Licensing
AAEXTENSIONS offers Joomla Extensions under two different licenses:
- GNU General Public License (GPLv2): This applies to the core PHP code of most extensions. GPL grants you a lot of freedom to use, modify, and share the code as long as you follow the terms of the license.
- AAEXTENSIONS Proprietary Use License v1.0: This applies to other parts of the extension, like images, manuals, stylesheets, and JavaScript, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This license restricts how you can use these elements. You can’t redistribute or repackage them for purposes beyond what the Terms of Service allow.
In short, the code is mostly open for tinkering and sharing, while other parts like images and manuals are for your own use with the extension.

About Non-Code Files in AAEXTENSIONS Extensions
Some parts of our Joomla extensions, like images, stylesheets, manuals, and JavaScript files, are protected under the AAEXTENSIONS Proprietary Use License v1.0. This basically means they’re copyrighted by AAEXTENSIONS.
Here’s what that means for you:
- You can use these files within the extension as intended.
- You can’t share them separately or use them in other projects without our permission.
If you’d like to use any of these files outside the extension, just contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss it!
USAGE TERMS
Using Your Extension on Multiple Domains
Great news! You can use your AAEXTENSIONS extension on more than one domain. However, our premium support is limited to the domain you register with us during purchase.
Subscription and Support
Currently, we offer a single subscription plan that lasts for 180 days. This means you can download updates and get premium support for your extension for 6 months from your purchase date.
Renewing Support and Updates
If you need support or updates after the 180 days, you’ll need to renew your subscription. We’re also working on adding more subscription options in the future!
Verification for Support
To ensure you receive the best possible assistance, both our support system and forum will verify your active license before allowing you to submit tickets or access support resources.
Making Code Changes
Feel free to customize the code to fit your needs! However, please note that we won’t be able to provide support for any modifications you make.

- Our Proprietary Use License restricts sharing modified proprietary files (like images or manuals) under the GPL license.
- Both this license and GPLv2 require you to keep copyright information intact within the files.
